Painting internal states through colour, process and presence.
Mothers work
2026

Mother Work centres on paintings of my children, each holding a gaze that resists easy reading. They are not portraits but meditations on care, projection, and inheritance — how love, fear, protection, and uncertainty occupy the same space.
The series holds an awareness of what moves between generations: the ways we carry our parents’ unfinished lives until something is recognised and shifted. Here, looking becomes an act of interruption — a refusal to repeat, and a quiet attempt to step beyond what was given.
